Bookings are managed through Octorate, an integrated platform on our website that allows users to check real-time availability and complete reservations without leaving the site. The system is secure and supports major payment gateways (e.g. Nexi, Stripe, PayPal).
A reservation is considered confirmed only after receiving the automatic confirmation email generated by Octorate. Until then, the booking is not binding for either party.
Credit card details may be requested by Octorate solely as a guarantee. The property owner — Borgo Tortorella — is responsible for charging and managing any payments or deposits.
The cancellation policy is managed directly through the Octorate system and displayed during the booking process in the Terms and Cancellation section. The conditions specified therein apply.
Octorate manages the collection and technical processing of data through its booking engine in full compliance with the GDPR.
Borgo Tortorella is responsible for the data collected through contact forms or bookings and for their use, in accordance with the GDPR and its own Privacy Policy.
Borgo Tortorella reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions, effective from the date of publication. We encourage you to review this page periodically for any updates.
Octorate S.r.l., based in Rome, is the provider of the booking system and does not act as an intermediary. It offers a commission-free, secure (SSL, PCI-DSS), and customizable booking engine. The user and the accommodation facility are the contracting parties — Octorate assumes no responsibility for post-booking contractual relationships.
